What about us?

The Malaysian Government has always been very outspoken in voicing out support to the plight of the Palestinian people and condemning 'astrocities' of the Israelis. The past week or so, we have read about the Government calling for sanctions, boycotts and even for the Israelis to be tried in an International Court. Looking from one angle, it is heartening to see a country standing up to defend another.
But, the question is, WHAT ABOUT YOUR OWN PEOPLE??? This country may not be at war, but there are alot of crap that the CITIZENS or RAKYATS have to endure and put up with in this country. Do we need to change citizenship and get a Palestinian passport to be heard and get help, justice and equality? (No disrespect to the Palestinian people)

It's Over

My weekend is coming to an end, just like that. Didn't really spent the time the way I had planned. I had thought of having a really relaxing weekend the moment the last bell rang on Friday morning. I pictured myself laying down in bed, watching the half dozen of so movies that I have downloaded.

Oh well, there's always next weekend.

2 weeks down, another 45 weeks or so to go! Go me!

This is not an awareness campaign. This boy was being punished. His sentence was to read that poster until I tell him to stop.

Feedback : Boy knew why he was punished and said he won't repeat his misbehaviour, and at the same time, gained some knowledge about Hand Foot & Mouth Disease.

Sir, may I go to the toilet, please?

That's the most heard phrase for me since I started teaching on Monday. Well, at least that's what I'm training them to say when they want to go to the loo.

The one thing I dread the most happened. Being appointed a rookie class teacher to a Level 1 class, a Year 2 class to be exact. If they were just 2 years older, I would have less pain in the...wherever. Managing a class of that age is challenging. Not to mention the fact that being a class teacher means having extra responsibilities and more paperwork. These things they don't teach you in training. And there is no task description, list or whatever. Guess I will have to try very hard to adapt. Godspeed!

Before I forget, again, I would like to wish my faithful readers (rasa kedak celebrity blogger la tek) a very belated but a very happy new year and merry Christmas!
